WHO AM I ? - JAY WILPOLT
Coming Soon!
Do you have any interesting stories, events or
pictures?
I would be glad to add them if you can email
or postal mail them to me.
Also if you would like to promote your
business at no charge, I can add that on the Business page listing.
CAN YOU HELP?
I am always looking
for more information. The statistical part of a persons record is not complete until
I have their birth date AND location, marriage date AND location, death date AND
location, as well as other info like occupations and Immigration dates.
My Missing Information lists
But even more important is any biographical
info that you might be able to add. Dates and numbers get old and boring, but the
biographical stories and info brings that person to life and then those memories can
be preserved for others to enjoy.
If you can help, visit my
Submit Info page or
email me.
THANK YOU!
CAN I HELP YOU?

Counties.

2 hour minimum.
Please contact Jay by email at

Please put "Genealogy Research" in the subject
line
and please provide a detailed explanation of
what you are searching for.

The creator of this web site lives
in San Diego.
Another interesting link between Appleton and
San Diego?
Alonzo Horton the founder of
Hortonville in Wisconsin and one of the original settlers of San Diego
can be found in the 1850
Census in Grand Chute (Appleton) before
he came to California in
1852 for the "Gold Rush" eventually settling in San Diego.
Horton Plaza
in downtown San Diego is named in honor of Alonzo Horton.
It seems that for almost every event in our lives
there is another quotation of timeless wisdom from Shakespeare.
"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the
citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a
double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the
mind...And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the
blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no
need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry,
infused with fear and blinded with patriotism, will offer up all of
their rights unto the leader, and gladly so. How do I know? For this
is what I have done. And I am Caesar."
-William Shakespeare
