    Charles S. Wagner, 72, 206 E. Division street, Kaukauna, died at 7 o'clock this morning at his home after a long illness. He was born Sept. 28, 1865, in Marathon City and lived in Kaukauna for about 40 years. He was an employe of the Thilmany Pulp and Paper company for 32 years before his retirement six years ago. Funeral services will be at 9:30 Saturday morning at Holy Cross church, Kaukauna, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral home, Kaukauna, after 7:30 tonight. The rosary will be recited there at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday night. Survivors include the wi- dow; two daughters, JVIrs. Elmer Kieffer, Kaukauna, and Mrs. Harold Lamers, Kimberly; two sons, Francis, Kaukauna, and Charles J., West Allis; one sister, Mrs. Henry Killian, Kaukauna; and 16 grandchildren.

    Funeral services for George Vander Heiden, age 74, who died at his home at 210 Divison stree t here last Wednesday morning was held at the Holy Cross church last Saturday morning at 9:30 . A requiem high mass was sai d by the Msgr. P. J. Lochman. Interment was in Holy Cross cemete ry. Pall bearers were Francois Biese, Alois Biese, C. Eimmermann, and Henry Coonen, all nephe ws. Mr. Vander Heiden was born at West Holland May 26, 1852, and lived on a farm in tha t communit y until 1912, when, with his family he moved to Kaukauna, living where the present Kaukauna g reen house is located. Four years ago he moved to the home on Division street, where he died . The deceased was well-known and greatly respec ted in this section of the state and beside s his immediate relatives he leaves a great many friends who morn his loss. Survivors are his widow, four sons, Henry of West De Pere, Theodore of Wrightstown, Peter o f the Town of Kaukauna and George , Kaukauna; five daughters, Mrs. Albert Van Vreede, Town o f Kaukauna, Mrs. Frank Van Lanen and Mrs. William Nackers of Wrightstown, Mrs. R. Faegen, an d Mrs. Charles Wagner of this city; and one brother, Peter of Green Bay.

    Mrs. Mary Vanderheiden, aged 84 years, 210 East Division street, died at St. Elizabeth hospit al, Appleton, at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon following a two week illness. She had suffered a br oken hip in a fall. Th e deceased was born in Sheboygan Falls on Sept. 3, 1858, Mary Biese was the daughter of Hen ry Biese who was married to George Vanderheiden in 1879. Mr. and Mrs. Vanderheiden came to Ka ukauna in 1911 and have resided here since. Her husband passe d away in 1925. Mrs. Vanderheiden was a member of Holy Cross Catholic church and the Christian Mothers societ y of the church. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Catherine Van Lanen and Mrs. Nellie Nackers, Wrightstown , Mrs. Ann Van Vreede, Mrs . Nettie Wagner and Mrs. Gertrude Faegan of Kaukauna, three sons He nry of the town of Lawrence, Peter, route 2 and George, Kaukauna; one brother Peter Biese, Ka ukauna; one sister, Mrs. Henry Peters, Rudolph; 40 grandchildren and 21 great grandch ildren. The body is at Fargo Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 o' clock this evening .     I found the article that said 4 Coonen women had gone to see relatives in Detroit, and the obit, mentioned a sister who lived in Detroit, as well as 2 others who came from out of town for the funeral.
    Then I found Theodora Metter, 88 in Gratiot, Wayne Co, Michigan who is an 88 yr old widow in 1910, who has a son Englebert, 53, in the same household as Mary W Bierman, 46 yr old widow. These would be the attendees at the funeral.

    See Image Mrs Henry Biese, an aged resident of Holland, died Friday at the home of her son William Biese, after an illness of six weeks. Mrs. Biese was born in Greithuisen, Germany, and was 80 years old January 1, 1911. In 1853 she emigrated to America and resided at Detroit, Michigan. Two years later she came to the town of Wilson near Sheboygan to reside where she was married to Henry Biese, who died six years ago. They lived in the town of Wilson 24 years. Thirty-two years ago they came to Brown County and settled on a farm at Holland where the deceased has resided up to the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her death eight children namely: Peter, Arnold, Gertrude, Mrs Peter Eimmerman of Kaukauna, John of Lawrence, Kate, Mrs Henry Peters, Nellie, Mrs James Coonen of Dundas, William and Mary, Mrs George Vanderheiden of Holland, Wis. The deseased was known for her kindness, christian charity and piety; she was a model that all might wisely imitate and those who knew her longest loved her most. She was a faithful member of the Catholic church and in spite of her advanced age she will be sadly missed by her children and many friends and relatives. She leaves to mourn her death besides the above mentioned, one sister, Mrs Mether of Detroit, Mich. who is 91 years old, 56 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The funeral was held from St. Francis Church Tuesday Jan 10 at 10 o'clock and was one of the largest seen here. Rev N. Breucker officiated assisted by Rev Francis Peters and Rev J.H. Vander Elsen, the parish priest, after which the remains were interred in the cemetery near the church, six of her grandchildren acted as pallbearers. Among those who were present from outside were: Albert Mether and Mrs Mary Bierman of Detroit, Mrs Harry Metzner of DePere, Peter Biese and family, Henry Mickey and wife, Arnold Biese and family and Peter Eimmermann and children of Kaukauna, Henry Peters of Peters, Nebraska, Casper Holzschuh and wife of Sherwood, George Baeten and wife, and Mr & Mrs Martin Vandehey of Wrightstown, Albert Van Vreede and wife and Peter Vanderheiden and wife of of the town of Kaukauna, Theodore Vanderheiden of Seymour, John Biese and family and Henry Vanderheiden of Lawrence.
