  • Notes  News Mention (Family):
    • Elkhart lake Girl Is Bride of Cleveland Man
At a wedding performed at the home of the bride' s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Wickesberg, Elkhart Lake, route 1, Miss Esther Wickesberg became the bride of Arwln F. Gutenberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gutenberger, Cleveland, route 2, on Saturday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Gatermann, pastor of the Emmanuel Reformed church. The Queen Ann gown worn by the bride was of royal blue transp- arent velvet, and, to contrast with it, the bouquet which the bride wore on her wrist was of red roses with matching pompons and snapdragons. Miss Viola Wickesberg, who attended her sister , wore a floor-length gown of black trans- parent velvet made with a high yoke forming a draped neckline. Her wrist bouquet was of yellow tea roses with matching chrysanthemums and snapdragons. Paul Marten attended the groom as best man. Miss Margaret Dehne, cousin of the bride, played the Bridal chorus from Lohengrin. A wedding dinner and reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for immediate relatives and intimate friends. Decorations were attractive in green and white. Out-of-town wedding guests were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Franz and family. Miss Viola Malske, Sheboygan: Miss Margaret Dehne, Newton; and Mr. and Mrs. Reinhard Henning of Milwaukee.
