  DR. CHARLES E. McCARTY Dr. Charles E. McCarty, formerly of Decatur, died Monday evening in the ho spital at Peoria. News of the death came to J.P. Houlihan Tuesday morning . Dr. McCarty was about thirty-seven years old. The family lived in Decat ur for eleven years before moving to Peoria three years ago. Dr. McCar ty had his office on East Main street. He was an exceptionally well educa ted man, having studied in Vienna and Berlin, as well as in this countr y. He made a great many friends during his residence in Decatur. He is s urvived by his wife and one daughter, Elizabeth, aged eleven years. He al so leaves his mother who lives in Fort Pierce, Fla. She was with him wh en he died. It is not known when the funeral will be.
