  Jacob Jack Muthig, "Jack", Neenah, age 80, passed away peacefully on February 1 5, 2006. He was born September 25, 1925, in Clintonville, WI, the son of t he late Jacob and Elizabeth (Veysey) Muthig. He married Wilma Young on Ju ne 6, 1945; they celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2005. Jack was a loy al employee of P.H. Glatfelter Company for 28 years. Jack was very pro ud to work for the Bergstrom family. He was a member of St. Margaret Ma ry Catholic Church, Neenah, WI. Survivors include his loving wife Wilma, five daughters: Pat (Gordy) Sha w, Donna (Hugh Lovin) Petermann, Beth (Mark) Hawkins, Joann (Tom) Milhaup t, and Janice (Chris) Morrison; two sons: Ronnie (Bonnie) Muthig and Ran dy (Jill) Muthig; and special buddy, Dave Petermann. Jack so loved and w as so proud of his 14 grandchildren: Kristin Shaw, Scott, Jeff (Melissa ), and Trevor (Rachel Dax) Petermann, Dr. Jamie (Peter) Zarda, Joe (Amand a) Muthig, Amanda and Samantha Hawkins, Ashley, Abby, and Adam Morrison, S hannon, Tyler and Cory Milhaupt; and two great grandchildren: Jack and Rac hel Petermann. His special pal, Lucy, has been a faithful companion. Ja ck is further survived by his loving sister, Margaret Koehn, Antigo, WI, a nd several special nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and sisters-in-la w, and two sisters and brothers-in-law. Jack's greatest joy was his family. He loved having all of his family arou nd him. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Wilma and many friend s. He was a devoted husband and the "bestest" Dad and Grandpa in the worl d. Funeral services for Jack will be held Saturday, February 18, 200 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Richard All en officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. u ntil the time of services. Interment will be in St. Margaret's Cemeter y. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. The family wishes to thank the Theda Care Hospice staff, the loving and co mpassionate staff of Cherry Meadows, and Dr. Steven Hagen for his person al care and friendship.
