  Donald F. Vander Linden, age 77, of W1214 Center Rd., Brillion, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. He was born on June 30, 1932, in Flintville, WI, son of the late August and Frances (Hoffman) Vander Linden. He married Donna VanEss on November 12, 1955, in Green Bay. Donald farmed for most of his life. He loved to polka. Survivors include his wife Donna; his children: David (Lorraine) Vander Linden of Greenleaf, Dennis Vander Linden of Brillion, Douglas (Shelly) Vander Linden of Brillion, Danielle (William) Kohlman of Kellnersville; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandson; three sisters: Grace Calaway of Brillion, Mary (Richard) Rottier of West DePere, Rose Kramer of Kimberly; four brothers: Carl (Ann) Vander Linden of Shawano, Norbert (Sharon) Vander Linden of Wrightstown, Roger (Jeannie) Vander Linden of Kaukauna, Richard (Julaine) Vander Linden of West De Pere; and many other relatives and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a son Daniel, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gerald (Sandy) Vander Linden and Kenneth Vander Linden. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mathew Simonar will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Kasson. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and then again at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 Friday evening at the funeral home.
