  Barbara was a daughter of Martin BACHHUBER, as evidenced by the following article in the Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, August 30, 1934, page 1: "Attend Bachhuber Reunion" "About four hundred persons were in attendance at the reunion of descendants of Martin Bachhuber held at Ziegler's park in Mayville Sunday afternoon, Beaver Dam being represented by Mrs. John V. Roller, Mrs. John Welsch, Mrs. John Budde and Mrs. John Wheeler, granddaughters of Martin Bachhuber, who came to the United States in 1844 and settled on a farm near West Bend. Xavier Weix, a former resident of Beaver Dam and now a resident of of Oconomowoc, who is a grandson, was also in attendance."
