  Wilma "Willie" J. (Havinga) Beckman was born on January 2, 1953 to Mary (Cops) and Peter Havinga in Appleton, WI. Willie attended Xavier Appleton High School, graduating as part of the class of 1971. Willie brought a passionate zest, attitude, and sense of humor in everything she did. She was a dedicated realtor and avid Beatles fan. During her life Willie enjoyed bird watching, fishing, and vacationing in the Caribbean. Willie Beckman departed this life on May 13, 2013. Willie was blessed with many friends and family by her side. She was preceded in death by her son Shane Selig; father, Peter Havinga; husband, Billy D. Beckman; and beloved sister, Maria Havinga. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Beth (David Grant) Beckman; her grandson, Willem Grant; her spouse, Peter Zingshiem; her mother Mary Havinga; and two brothers, Tom and Tim Havinga; The funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette St. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the Church. The family would like to thank Theda Care at Home Hospice, all of those who support Community Benefit Tree and those who supported Willie's Magical Mystery Fund for all of their care and support.
