  Frank C. Krahn, 79, retired locomotive engineer and former Manitowoc resident, died last night at his home in Kaukauna. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m., at Kaukauna. The body will be brought to Manitowoc for interment in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Krahn was born in this city and after completing school went to work for the North Western railroad. He rose to the rank of locomotive engineer and for years operated trains out of this city. Twenty years ago he moved to Kaukauna to take a run to Eland Junction. He retired nine years ago. Survivors are the widow, the former Mary Miller of this city; two sons, Joseph of Kaukauna and Dr. George Krahn of Oconto Falls, Wis.; daughter, Mrs. Peter McMahon of Savannah, Ga.
