  Biography	From VanAbel Family History John Campbell (Howards grandfather) born in County Claire Ireland in 1803 died Jan 27 1893. Catherine Hicky came to this country at the age of 10 with her parents. They lived in Warren Pennsyvania. She married John Campbell in that city. John and Catherine moved with their two eldest children to Wisconsin in 1850 where they settled on a farm in Hollandtown, then still a wilderness and endured the hardships and trials of all pioneers. William, son of John & Catherine and Anna Glasheen lived on that same farm in Hollandtown where all ten children were born. William and Anna lived there until they died. Both John and Catherine are buried in the cemetery at St Francis parish of Hollandtown.

  Notes	possibly had relative Daniel Campbell who served in 52 regiment in Civil w ar 3/15/1864-8/15/1864 as private, per 1890 census in Holland listed An na Cambell as widow of Daniel. Much info from Mary Campbell VanAble from a personal visit when she was 96 years old but still sharp as ever! Some info on some descendants came from Katie Harrison Monfils in March 2002.
