The deceased was born in Berlicum, North Brabant, Netherlands on November 5, 1823, age 71. He came to the US in 1858 and lived in New York for 6 years. He came to DePere in 1864 and in the Fall of 1865 settled on a farm in the Town of DePere. A widow and 3 children, Mrs. Leonard Vanderlinden and Peter van de Lieffort, DePere and John Van de Lieffoort of Green Bay mourn his passing. Yesterday morning burial from Hollandsche Church.
