  Info on Lillian came from her obit. WASHINGTON, IL - Lillian Veronica Certalic, 98, of Washington, Ill., died at 11:33 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Washington Christian Village in Washington. Born on Aug. 13, 1911, in Oshkosh, Wis., to John and Mary Elsie Tate Heber, she married Joseph Frank Certalic on Nov. 21, 1930, in Indianapolis, Ind. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1986, in Peoria, Ill. Surviving are five daughters, Wanda (Donald) Burroughs, Catheryn (Charles) Koonce and Rosa Lee (Fred) Ripper, all of Washington, Ill., Mary Jane (Robert) Mestrich of Orange Park, Fla., and Sylvia (Talmadge) Self of Faulkville, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Lillian ran Certalic Flower Gardens in Washington and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Father Joseph P. Donton will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
