Antoon (born 28-09-1821) and Gerard (born 19-11-1823) were cousins to my g-g-g-grandmother Gertrude Goemans (1811-1871). Their parents are Joannes Goumans (* 05-04-1782 Venray + 05-10-1830 Venray) and Joanna Litjens (* 13-07-1793 Venray + 04-01-1873 Venray). The couple got 8 children: Petronella (1815-1891); Martinus (1816-1850); Anna Elisabeth (1818-1865); Antoon (1821- ); Gerard (1823-1867); Godefridus (1925-1900) and Jakob (1829-1887). Antoon leaves on 01-03-1851 to Broekhuizen, a small town in the neighboorhood. In 1856 he left for Amerika. Gerard is married on 19-01-1867 in Venray to Gertrudis Loonen (* 19-09-1843). She is a daughter of Peter Loonen and Maria Catharina Hendrix. Two months after their marriage Gerard and Gertrudis left for Amerika. Most likely to their brother (in law) Antoon.
