Florence L. Rusch, age 91, of Seymour, passed away Thursday morning, April 2, 2009, at her home. She was born April 4, 1917, daughter of the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg. On November 6, 1937, she was united in marriage to Herbert Rusch in Seymour. Herbert preceded her in death on December 11, 1989. Florence enjoyed farming with her husband Herbert. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, Quilters and was a volunteer at Good Shepherd. She helped out at Emmanuel with the funeral luncheons. Florence was a member of Kitchen Cutups Homemaker Club. Survivors include her four sons and daughters-in-law: Jim (Jenelle) Rusch, Seymour; Steve Rusch, Lake Minnetonka, MN; Mark (Sue) Rusch, Seymour; Ted (Bev) Rusch, Seymour; five daughters and sons-in-law: Sheryl (Mike) Van Straten, Shiocton; Diane (Dwayne) Schneekloth, Seymour; Maureen (Ronald) Gowey, Seymour; Cindy (Pete) Mikle, Seymour; Barbara (Steve) Buman, Oneida; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Beatrice Murphy, Appleton; Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher, Appleton; Bernice Riehl, Seymour; one brother, Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg, Seymour; sister-in-law, Elaine Schaumberg, Seymour. She was preceded in death by a son Gerry, daughter-in-law Linda, three sisters: Marie, Vivian and Margaret, and a brother Maynard. Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, April 6, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.
