  Family History Researcher	Andrew Flatley and Ellen Finen were born in County Sligo, Ireland and came to America in 1847. They had six children. They were John, Michael, Hugh, Mary, Andrew and Thomas. Five of the children were born in Ireland. Thomas was born in Schenectady, New York and was the only one born in America. When Thomas was 5 years old In 1854, the family moved to Wisconsin, settling then in the town of Woodville, Calumet County - a primeval forest. Waukauna was the nearest settlement. It was eight miles away and the settlement consisted of one store and one tavern. There were no roads and supplies reached Waukauna by boat from Green Bay. They cleared the land and operated farms in the area.
