  Spaulding, Anita F. Anita F. Spaulding, age 88, Shiocton, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Anita was born on November 26, 1921, in Shiocton, daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Durant) Bedor. She formerly worked at the Toy Factory in Hortonville and the Kraut Factory in Shiocton. She also worked at the Munitions Plant in Baraboo. Anita is survived by a daughter, Carol Young, Shiocton; two brothers: James Bedor, Waupaca and Dennis (Angeline) Bedor, Larson; three grandchildren: Nikole (Brian) Drath, Amber and Alexander Young; and one great-grandson (the light of Anita's life), Owen Drath. She is also survived by special friends: Art, Debbie and Amanda Blank and Deborah Drath; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Harvey "Happy" Beyers; 2nd husband, Eugene Spaulding; two sisters: Alta Knueppl and Eunice Davidson; four brothers: Duane, Elmer, Robert, and Gerald Bedor. Funeral services for Anita will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton. Burial will be in the Shiocton-Bovina Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested plants.
