  Betty J. Peeters, 73, Greenville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Appleton Medical Center. Betty was born in Bear Creek on Nov. 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Mark and Evelyn (Rohan) Lowney. She married Robert "Bob" Peeters on June 20, 1956. Betty was a resident of Greenville for over 50 years and was employed by the Greenville Post Office for many years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Betty enjoyed spending time at her cottage on Pelican Lake with family and friends, going for pontoon rides, fishing and playing cards. She had a love for gardening, making maple syrup and watching her birds and squirrels. She is survived by her two sons, Steve (Joann) Peeters, Shiocton; and Pat (Wendy) Peeters, Shiocton; daughter, Lori (Steve) Parker, Greenville; five grandchildren, Aaron, Stephanie, Mandie, and Alex Peeters, and Jenna Parker; and two sisters, Marie (Chuck) Sullivan, Greenville; and Gerri (Dennis) Conradt, Bear Creek. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Peeters; a son, Timothy Robert in 1966; sister, Kathleen Lowney; brother, Mark Lowney; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Angarose and Chris Peeters. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville, with Father Mark Vander Steeg officiating.
