Wis. - A body identified as that of Carl Daufen, 42, shell shocked war veteran, missing since last Thursday, was found today in Rainbow Lake by E. E. Smith of Dodge City, Kan. Oshkosh Daily Northwestern | Oshkosh, Wisconsin | Wednesday, June 19, 1935 | Page 1 Wisconsin Veterans' Home, Wis Many from the Home attended funeral services for Carl Daufen, World war veteran, who was drowned in Rainbow lake. Full military honors were accorded by the Maj. U. G. Carl post, V. F. W., of which the deceased was member. The Home firing squad and the drum and bugle corps participated in the rites.
