Helen was born in the Dayton Township on November 24, 1912, daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Danielsen) Abrahamson. She was united in marriage to Arthur Affeldt on December 15, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Roger) Spiegel, Appleton; a brother, Perry (Jean) Abrahamson, Waupaca; grandchildren, Dawn Helena Anderson and Carmen (James) Salinas; one great grandchild, Jesse James Salinas. Her husband, a brother, Gordon, sisters and brothers in-law, Inez (Kenneth) Batten, Fern (Gerald) Orr, Joyce (Marvin) Pirk and Jean (Gerhard) Handrich preceded her in death. Funeral Services for Helen will be on Tuesday June 22, 2010, at 12:00 Noon at Grace Lutheran Church, Sugar Bush, with Rev. F.K. Berger officiating. Burial will be in the New Maple Creek Cemetery, Maple Creek Township. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
