I have quite a bit of info on James and his wife Mary(Farley).:- GUILFOYLE/GILFOIL/GUILFOIL DOROTHY BROWN"S FAMILY John Guilfoyle -born c1800 either Offaly (kings) or Tipperary co. Ire. Married c1825 Ire to Jane Murphy. .Jane was christeened 22 Aug. 1802 Kerry Killarney Ire. ,daughter of Patrick & Mary(Quissian).They had 6 children all born in Ireland. They came to Canada c1850. One story says that Jane died on the ship coming over. ( NOTE- I purchased John's will from Guelph Ont. & it states his wife as Joanna so it is preumed he remarried)John died Sept.1st 1881 in Peel twp. Wellington Co. Ont. I can not find out where he is buried.He was Roman Catholic so I have checked all those cem. (I worked with Bob Guilfoyle in Florida for a few years on this family but he passed away so I dont seem to have any more leads.The family lived around Drayton Ont.
