  Priebe, Gladys Age 98, of Appleton, formerly of Greenville, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at The Bridges in Appleton. She was born on April 27, 1917 in Hortonville, daughter of the late William and Emma (Flunker) Krause. On October 17, 1933, she was united in marriage to Norman C. Priebe. He preceded her in death on December 19, 2003. Gladys and Norman farmed in the Town of Greenville for many years. She was employed at Hortonville Wire Products for 45 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Gladys enjoyed lunches at Perkins with her family. She also loved playing Michigan Rummy and Barnyard Bingo with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Grace Bohman, Appleton; Robert (Jeanette) Priebe, Seymour; daughter-in-law: Barbara Priebe, Appleton; sister: Alice Schwebs, Nevada; 15 grandchildren: 38 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Jerry; daughters-in-law Carol Priebe and Lou Ann Priebe; son-in-law William Bohman; also a brother Arthur Krause; sister Helen Beschta; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at The Bridges of Appleton for their kind and compassionate care of Gladys.
