  Bavinck, Mary R. "Riet" Mary R. Bavinck, 83, Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born Feb. 3, 1926, in Holland, daughter of the late Peter and Bertha (Geitman) Rietveld. Mary married Cornelis Bavinck in Holland. They moved to the U.S. in 1952 and settled in Wisconsin, where they raised a family. Mary enjoyed knitting and sewing and donated items to hospitals and schools for children. Survivors include seven children, Marretje Rangel, Petronella Pampel, Cornelis "Casey" (Paula) Bavinck, Jr., Gerry Weyenberg, Anthony Bavinck, Robert Bavinck and Catherine (Daniel) Nielsen; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Jerry (Margie) Rietveld, John Rietveld, Ted (Colleen) Rietveld and Tony (Donna) Rietveld. She was preceded in death by four brothers, her twin brother, Frank, Peter, Ary and Ray. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.
