  Orvil Ervin Mueller, age 82, died peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Appleton. Orv was born December 14, 1929 in Black Creek, Wisconsin son of the late John and Laura (Peters) Mueller. He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Following his military duty he attended Lawrence University. Orv was then united in marriage to his life long sweetheart Myra Vanden Heuvel on June 28, 1955 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. He started his own business, Ace Motors, which remained his passion throughout his whole life. Most important to Orv was his family and grandchildren which meant the world to him. Orv was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Appleton. Orvil is lovingly survived by his wife, Myra of 57 years; two daughters, Terry (Brian) Piller, Neenah; Lori Mueller, Appleton; two grandchildren, Matthew and Mikala Piller, Neenah; Orv is further survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray (Florence) Vanden Heuvel, Appleton; Bud Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna; Therese Van Camp, Menasha, George Vanden Heuvel, Menasha; and Adele Mortell, Appleton; and by nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends. Orv was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Elaine Kurey, Norman and Lawrence Mueller, Dolores Allen, Beverly Barrier, Ione and LaVern Mueller. The Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 25, 2012 from St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State Street, Appleton with Father Jim O'Leary, OFM Cap officiating. Full Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. Orv's family will receive family and friends at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Orv's name.
