  Harvest of Death, Nicholas Fochs Passed Away After an illness of nearly a year's duration, Nicholas M Fochs died at his home in this city on Thursday morning, Jan 18 at the age of 44 years, 6 months and 10 days. The deceased who was a son of Math Fochs was born in Germany, Aug 3, 1865 and came to America with his parents in 1881. They located on a farm in the town of Chilton and he assisted his father for a number of years and then moved to this city where he was employed at various occupations until March last he was obliged to give up work owing to poor health. In January 1891, he was married at Ashford to Miss Barbara Hitzler. Mr Fochs was a member of the Germania society and the Catholic Foresters and was also a devourt member of the Catholic church. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his death is sadly deplored. The funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 o'clock from St Mary's church. He is survived by a widow, two sons and one daughter.
