Mary Kay Solorzano, 53, Shelton, WA, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at her home. She was born on April 22, 1956, to George and Helen (Vondracek) Vande Voort in Kaukauna. On December 7, 1977, she married Jim Solorzano in Woodland, CA. In 1994, she moved to Shelton, WA, where she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother and nurse who was taken from her loved ones much too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Jim C. Solorzano, Shelton, WA; daughter, Rosemary (Alan) Warnes, Shelton, WA; son, Jimmie Solorzano Jr., Shelton, WA; brothers: Paul Vande Voort, Darboy, WI; Pete Vande Voort, Kaukauna, WI; and Mark Vande Voort, Kaukauna, WI; sisters: Ann Vande Voort and Karen Horn, both of Kaukauna, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents. The memorial service for Mary will be held on August 9, 2009, at 3 p.m. at The Pavilion at Sentry Park, 190 W. Sentry Park, Shelton.
