  Richard A. Remter, 51, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on August 28, 1962, in Appleton, the son of Gerald and Carole (Coffey) Remter. Richard enjoyed riding snowmobiles and taking road trips. One of his favorite destinations was Wisconsin Dells. Richard is survived by his two daughters: Stephanie (Joseph) Giotto and Danielle Remter; his parents; four siblings: Geraldine (Dan) Cowling, Tina (Allen) Beschta, Patti DeWall (Sonny Kettner), and Jeremy Remter (Sarah Forler); two grandchildren: Isabella Remter and Chase Giotto; and his longtime girlfriend: Janice Derks. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews as well as numerous extended family. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Valley Funeral Home, from 4-6 PM.
