  Barbara M. (Towns) Weyenberg, age 57 of Shawano, passed away late Thursday, May 22, 2014 after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May, 21, 1957 to John and Patricia (Verhagen) Towns in Neenah. Barb was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano and will always be remembered as a hardworking woman, having had many jobs working as an LPN to support her family. She is survived by her husband, David Weyenberg; her children: Angela (Brett) Cartwright; Ryan (Tawny) Porter; and Denise Rehorst; her daughter-in-law Julie Trams; her grandchildren: Elizabeth Trams; Matthew and Emma Cartwright; Gryffon Schultz; William Porter; and Alec Rehorst. She is further survived by her parents: John and Patricia Towns; her siblings: Debbie (Steven) Krueger; Michael (Andrea) Towns; Charles (Amy) Towns; Julie (Paul) Goldbeck; Edward (Andrea) Towns; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jon Trams. A visitation for Barb will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home and will continue on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 A.M. at. St. James Lutheran Church, 324 S. Andrews Rd., Shawano, Rev. Ted Andrada officiating.
