  See Image Illness Fatal to Dr. W.H. Meeker Retired Dentist, 80, Helped Found Kiwanis Club. Dental Clinics Dr. William H. Meeker, 80, 308 E. Lawrence street, died at 8:30 last night after a lingering illness. Born June 27. 1859, in Cordington, Ohio, he entered the dental pro- fessionF moving to Neenah in 1888. five years later he moved to Cali- fornia and returned to this region in 1894 settling in Appleton. He was active in organizing the Kiwanis club here and in establishing dental clinics for school children. He retired from dental practice in 1918 and entered the insurance business. He was a member of the Elks club and the Knights of Pythias. Survivors are the widow: three daughters, Mrs. D. A. Hartzell. Mrs. Frederick Bouton, Alhambra, Calif. Mrs. W. S. Chapman, Redfield, S. D.: one sister, Mrs. S. Ford. Seattle, Wash.; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Brettschneider Funeral home with the Rev, John Hanna of the First Congregational church in charge.
