  Virginia M. Hartwig, age 89, died peacefully on Sunday December 26, 2010, at St. Paul Home, where she had been a resident for the past 3 years. She was born April 8, 1921, in Fond du Lac, WI, and lived in Kaukauna for the past 50 years. She was employed at Badger Northland until her retirement. Ginny enjoyed golf, bowling, quilting, and playing cards with her many friends. She was an active member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish and Lady KC's. She loved watching sports especially the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. Virginia will be deeply missed by her four daughters and one son, Ann (Mike) Kulbacki, Eau Claire; Mary (Marty) Krueger, Madison; Linda (Marty) Nackers, Kaukauna; Judy (Al) Feldkamp, Gilman, WI and David (Ann) Hartwig, Wausau. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Keith (Ingrid), Lisa, and Adam (Kathleen) Nackers; Robert, Ken, Cathy, and Lucas Feldkamp, and Taylor and Austin Hartwig. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, a son William and a sister, Alice Barbeau. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS SITE, 2401 Main Av, Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call directly at church on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul Home. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Home for the wonderful care given to our mother.
