  Agatha Wagner, age 101, of Chilton, died on Sunday, January 25, 2009, at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton. She was born February 27, 1907, in Jericho, daughter of the late Matthias & Amalia (Schneider) Buechel. She married Norbert J. Wagner on November 5, 1929, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on November 5, 1979, and their 70th Wedding Anniversary in 1999. Norbert preceded her in death on February 16, 2002. Agatha was the administrator of the Sheboygan Press Carriers in the Chilton area for 37 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Christian Women, GUG Germainia Society, and the Chilton Senior Citizen Group. She took great pleasure in raising and caring for her family and gardening. Survivors include her children: Elmer (Mary Lou) Wagner, Port Washington; Benjamin Wagner and Jennie Lee Wagner, Green Bay; eight grandchildren: Michael (Mari) Wagner, Grafton; Thomas (Teri) Wagner, Cedarburg; Richard Wagner, Glenwood City; David (Dawn) Wagner, Saukville; John Wagner, Sacramento, CA; Christine Wagner, Vicenza, Italy; Karen Wagner, Davis, CA; Edward Wagner, Green Bay; 11 great-grandchildren: Katie, Taylor, Austin, Chelsea, Madeline, Owen, Emma, Trenton, Evan, Ezra, Madison; and a great-great-grandchild: Trey. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Christina; her brothers: John, Jacob, Henry, Albert, Alois, Herbert, & Gregory; and her sisters: Martha and Apollonia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 5:00 PM until 7 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2009 and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A parish vigil service will be held Friday evening at 7p.m. Memorials are appreciated in the name of Agatha Wagner for the Perpetual Adoration Chapel and the Chilton Area Catholic School.
