  Lawrence J. Selissen, 68, Rt. 1, Maribel, former Green Bay resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday at a local hospital. He was born in Green Bay to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Selissen and married Laverne Joachim in 1937 in Green Bay. Mr. Selissen was a mailman in Green Bay for 30 years; retired 11 years ago and then moved to Maribel. He was a member of St. Michael's Chapel, West De Pere. Survivors are his wife; seven daughters, Sister Rita Lawrence, Aurora, Colo.; Sr. Jean Paul, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Jo) Gerrts, West De Pere; Mrs. Ron (Jean) Mooren, De Pere; Mrs. David (Katherine) Paque, Luxemburg; Miss Rita, at home; Mrs. Dan (Ann) Shibler, Greenleaf; two sons, William and David, both of Green Bay; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Collins, and Mrs. Josephine VanEss, both of Green Bay; four brothers, Francis, Orlando, Fla., Ferdinand, Medford, Mass.; Otto and Paul, both of Green Bay. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and prior to the funeral. Rosary 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Chapel, West De Pere, with the Rev. T.A. Altenbach officiating. Burial in Allouez Cemetery.
