  Lawrence H. West, Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center, formerly of Neenah, a ge 88,was born to erernal life, Saturday, June 8, 1991. He was born January 2 8, 1903in Freedom, the son of the late Henry and Minnie (Ebben) West and had resi ded inthe Fox Valley all of his life. Larry owned and operated West Barber Sh op onSherry St. in Neenah for 40 years until his retirement in 1968. He w as a formermember of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Barbers Union. Survivors includ a daughter and a son in-law; Mary Ann and Gerald Gleaso n,Menasha; four sons and three daughters in-law; Donald and Ruth West, Apple ton;Marvin and Wanda West, Sauk City, Wi; Gene and Phyllis West, Appleto n; L. AllenWest, Neenah; two brothers and a sister in -law; Joseph West and Edward an dIsabell West, all of Appleton; 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildre n, alsonieces and nephews. Besides his parents Larry was preceded in death by hi sfirst wife, Cecilia (Quella) West in 1963; his second wife, Marcella (Grim mer)West in 1986; a son, Wayne in 1991; also six brothers and five sisters. The mass of resurrection will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday, June 1 2, 1991at the St. Joseph School Gym with the Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Interm ent will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at theBrettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel, 606 N. Oneida St. from 4 -8 PMTuesday and after 10 AM Wednesday directly at the school gym until the ti me of service. A prayer service will be held 7 PM Tuesday.
