  Donald J. Lamers, age 86 of Sun Prairie passed away in the comfort of his own home on September 6, 2012. Don was born on October 18, 1925 in Little Chute, WI, son of Peter and Marie Lamers. He served in the US Navy during WWII. On August 31, 1948 he married Theresa Van Nuland at Holy Name Church. They had just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He was employed for 40 years by Kimberly Clark. Don is survived by his wife, Theresa; his daughter Gail (Lan) Waddell of Marshall, WI, his sons Dean (Diana) Lamers of Combined Locks and Jay (Debra) Lamers of Kimberly; grandchildren Sarah, Ben, Drew, Tina, Jamie, Rob, David, and Ashlee; great-grandchildren Trent, Nora and Miles; sister Germaine Hieptas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute on September 15, 2012 with the Rev. James Vanden Hogen presiding. Visitation is from 9:00-11:00 with Mass at 11:00. The family would like to extend a thank you to the Agrace Hospice staff for all their loving care and support.
