  ROSETTA B. COOLEY. Mrs. Rosetta B. Cooley, wife of T.F. Cooley, aid de camp on the staff of the State Department Commander, G.A.R., died at 4:15 Saturday afternoon at her home on Superior Street, aged 72 years. Deceased was born in New York state in 1822, and had been a resident of Wisconsin a number of years, having been located at Kenosha, New London, Plover, and for the past three years in this city. For a number of years she has been an invalid, having suffered two strokes of paralysis, but the immediate cause of death was dropsy. she leaves a husband, three sons and two daughters. Charles, George and Addie L. are residents of Appleton; W. H. Cooley lives in Norfolk, Neb., and Mrs. Emma Vezey at Plover. The absent children, together with Mrs. B. F. Shipley, sister of the deceased, and her husband, of New London, were present at the funeral, which took place from the house, at 810 Superior Street at 2 o'clok Monday afternoon, under the auspices of the G. A. R. Rev. John Faville conducted the religious services. Deceased was a woman of lovable character, and will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The remains were interred in Riverside Cemetery.
