  Wheaton, Cecilia, Francisc an Care Center, formerly of KaukaunaAge 94, went home to her Lord on Monday, February 9, 2004. She was born Ju ne 20, 1909 to the late Michael and Jacobina (Van De Hey) Van Densen in Gr eenleaf, WI. She married the late Oliver Wheaton on June 19, 1933 at St. P atrick Catholic Church in Menasha. Their union produced two sons, Ronald a nd Warren. Throughout her life Cecilia worked at many places including Bel /Kaukauna and Theda Clark Hospital. She was active in the VFW and the Amer ican Legion and was a past President of these organizations. Cecilia was a lso active with the St. Mary Alter Society. She enjoyed baking and sewi ng but by far her greatest joy in life was to care for her family. We ha ve many fond memories of Sunday dinners at Grandma's followed by her famo us pie. Cecilia will be remembered for her kindness and compassion that s he showed to everyone who knew her. She was a gentle loving person that al ways put everyone before herself.She is survived by her son, Ronald (Patricia) Wheaton; a daughter in la w, Mary Miller-Wenzel; seven grandchildren: Jodi (Mark) Houg, Trina (Ja y) Hanagan, Kevin (Penny) Wheaton, Wade Wheaton, Tanya (Bruce) Nechodom, S kye (Steve) Meidam, Kim (Chuck) Cerull; fourteen great-grandchildren: Ky le (Veronica) Hanagan, Ryan Hanagan, Adam and Jeremy Nechodom, Alexi, Tyl er and Brandon Houg, Brianna and Savanna Wheaton, Brian Wheaton, Amanda Wh eaton, Theresa Wheaton, Kenlie and Cole Cerull; three great-great-grandchi ldren: Anthony Zoglman, Nahlana Nechodom and Isaiah Nechodom and thr ee on the way. She will also be missed by two sisters, Leona Van Densen a nd Rosella Terry; and two brothers, Leonard (Janice) Van Densen and Jose ph (Adeline) Van Densen.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oliver, her son Warr en, her grandson Scott, four brothers, a sister, and many aunts, uncles, c ousins, sisters and brothers-in-law.The Funeral Liturgy will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, at ST. MA RY of the ANNUNCIATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 West Seventh Street, Kaukau na with Fr. Robert A. Udulusch OFM Cap. officiating. Friends will be recei ved on Thursday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial w ill take place in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is b eing established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisti ng the family. 766-2099.The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Franciscan Care Cen ter for all the care they gave our Mom and Grandmother.Mom and Grandma: You loved and cared for us our entire lives.
