  Jeanette L. Rindt, age 86, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 26, 2007, at the Shawano Medical Center. Jeanette was born on August 24, 1920, in the Township of Grant, Shawano County, the daughter of the late John and Alvina (Nehring) Mielke. She was raised on a farm in the Township of Grant and graduated from Marion High School in 1938. On November 29, 1941, Jeanette married Ervin Rindt at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marion. The couple farmed on Rindt Road in the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County, until 1980 when they moved to Clintonville. Ervin preceded his wife in death on November 12, 1980. Jeanette had worked at the Clintonville Community Hospital dietary department. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included working in her flower garden, playing sheepshead and going to rummage sales. She was a Green Bay Packer fan, a member of the local marathon card club and a member of the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she had belonged to the C.L.C.W. Jeanette and Ervin had been very active in decorating Christus Church for the Christmas season. Survivors include her daughter, Darhl (Warren) Viergutz, Clintonville; her son, Wayne (Peggy) Rindt, Clintonville; her grandchildren: Dave (Connie) Viergutz, Clintonville; Kelli Rindt (special friend Jeff Asman), Kimberly; Debbie (Erich) Hintz, Manawa; Vicki (Jody) Goss, Appleton; her great-grandchildren: Nathan and Collin Hintz, Jacob and Erin Viergutz, Ava and Charles Goss; her sister, Verna Eckert, Clintonville; her brother, Eldore (Malinda) Mielke, Marion; her brother-in-law, Lester Bork, Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ervin; her sister, Mildred Vollmer; and her brother, Reno Mielke. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, with the Rev. Willard Hager officiating. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church until the time of the service.
