  Harold W. Mueller, joined the Lord Sept. 15, 2007, at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Sylvia for 58 years. Dear father of Lois (Gordon) Friske, Charles and Karen (Loren) Thompson. Dear grandfather of Linsey, Casey, Hillary and Kayla. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Harold graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering. He was a professional registered electrical engineer for the state of Wisconsin. He worked for General Motors for 33 years as a supervisor in various production engineering activities, including the Apollo Program. Harold was a member of The Engineering Society of Milwaukee, Society of Automotive Engineers and two honorary engineering fraternities. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Luxemburg, Wis. Harold spent several years in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre from Australia to Japan. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, where he served in various capacities as elder, secretary, school board, financial secretary, Bethel Series instructor, Christian Caring Committee Organizer, Sunday bulletin assembly coordinator. He was also active in volunteer work. Liked golfing, bowling, hunting, fishing and horseshoes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for Concordia Seminary. Visitation Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (1875 N. Calhoun Rd.) from 5 until 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH (10425 W. North Ave.) from 11:30 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park with military honors. CHURCH AND CHAPEL Ritter-Larsen Bros. 1875 N.
