  Thorvald J. Jensen, Neenah, age 88, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2006, at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born April 10, 1918, in Neenah, son of the late Jacob and Ethel (Didrickson) Jensen. Thorvald served in the U.S. Army during WWII being stationed in Europe and he received the Purple Heart. He worked for Kimberly-Clark for over 40 years until his retirement. He also worked part time at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah. Thorvald enjoyed lawn keeping and snow blowing. He was a life member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and the VFW. Survivors include a brother, Erwin (Mary Ann) Jensen, Neenah; a nephew, Steven (Gail) Schwerin; and four nieces: Lori Clark, Cindy (Mike) Pfankuch, Diane (Dan) Zeinert and Tracie Jensen-Haddock. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marian (John) Schwerin. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Neenah, with Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. Entombment was in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum with Military Rites conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60 of Kimberly.
