Gerald Charles Micolichek, 66, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday April 4, 2008, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born on May 4, 1941 in De Pere, WI; a twin son of the late Charles and Mary (Polus) Micolichek. Gerald was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 139. He worked for many different construction companies in the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas. Gerald was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to golf. Survivors include his son, Pete (Deb) Micolichek of Fond du Lac; his daughter, Amy (John) Munn of Hortonville; his grandchildren, Alex, Craig and Dallas; his brothers and sisters, Ray (Margie) Micolichek, Judy Wilson, all of Green Bay; Janet Poenisch of Texas; Janice Micolichek of De Pere; Nancy (Ralph) Pokorny, Robert Micolichek, Mary Jane Micolichek, Ruth (Paul) Pokorny all of Appleton; also by many other relatives and friends. Gerald was also preceded in death by his twin brother Jim and his sisters Ethel and Rita. Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later time. The family of Gerald would like to extend a special thank-you to all of the staff at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, for the kindness and loving care given to Gerald and his family.
