  Janet K. Culbertson, age 65, of Clintonville, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at her residence. Janet was born on April 26, 1943, in Madison, WI, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Matthews) Henke. The family moved to Appleton where Janet graduated from Appleton Senior High. She later worked for a phone company in Appleton. On August 19, 1967, she was united in marriage to Clyde Culbertson at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Appleton. The couple continued to live in Appleton until they moved to Waukesha. Three years later they moved to Clintonville where they have lived since. Janet had been employed with Clintonville Public Schools for 17 years as a Title One reading aid. She was a member of the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she was active in the choir and belonged to the Naomi Circle. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, yellow daisies, bird watching (especially cardinals) and vacationing in Minocqua, WI. Survivors include her husband Clyde; two daughters: Amy (Matt) Thomas, Grayslake, IL; Lynn Culbertson (fiance Michael Relien), Hortonville; her son, Craig Culbertson, Clintonville; her grandson, Gabriel Thomas; her sister, Carol (David) Evans, Neenah; her niece and nephew: Dawn (Scott) Schnable and Scott (Jen) Evans, Neenah; her aunts: Grace Legler and Georgina Block, Oconomowoc. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Josephine Henke; and her grandparents, Na Na and Daddy Joe. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
