  Jim Schultz, 87, died in his home after a long dignified battle with cancer, on Nov. 14, 2008, with his wife by his side. Jim was a Navy Salvage Diver in WWII that took him to Casablanca, Sicili, Naples, Africa, Algers, and Okinawa. He owned his own construction company and worked for the city of Appleton until his retirement in 1986. He is preceded in death by his beloved "Nanie" Janet Shultz Schneider, two sisters, a brother, and his parents. Surviving him are his loving wife of 62 years, Sally (Hamilton) Schultz; and his children, Katie (Carmen) Stout, Pat (Ed) Rowland, Lis (Tim) Barrett, Jill (Bob) Wilson, Jaci (Steve) Czarniak, Juli (Glen) Gray, Gus (Julie) Schultz and their families. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Swanson and his staff and the wonderful supportive and caring staff and ThedaCare at Home Hospice. In lieu of cards and flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of Wisconsin or ThedaCare at Home Hospice Care. Heart of the Valley Crematory Kimberly, WI.
