  Marjorie M. Gagnow, age 84, New London, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008, at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Marjorie was born on July 17, 1924, in New London, daughter of the late Byron and Mildred (Cartwright) Christian. On January 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to Herman Gagnow in New London. He preceded her in death in 1992. Marjorie is survived by three sons: Randy (Nancy) Gagnow, New London; David (Nancy) Gagnow, Oshkosh; Leo Gagnow (Donna Buelow), New London; a brother, Bill Christian, Elkhorn; a sister, Ruth Eggert, Neenah. She further survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Marjorie is preceded in death by two brothers: John Christian and Buddy Christian and a sister, Helen Ingersoll. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Residence and Heartland Hospice.
