  Clarence F. Riemer, of Hilbert, age 94, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009, at Calumet Medical Center. Clarence was born on May 9, 1914, in Langlade County, son of the late William and Ida (Fischer) Riemer. He married Viola Gest on July 31, 1948, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Clarence farmed in Hilbert for many years until going to work as a fork lift operator for the Brillion Iron Works. He was a life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Clarence is survived by a brother, Cyril (Mary) Riemer, Menasha; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Rev. Brian Crane will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Hilbert. Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
