  Mrs. Frieda Federwitz, 86, widow of Theodore, of 512 Spring St., Chilton, died Sunday morning at Calumet Memorial Hospital there after a short illness.She was born in the Town of Rantoul on June 10, 1888 a daughter of the late Jochim and Maria Pingel Stecker.On Oct. 19, 1911 she was married to Mr. Federwitz at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Rantoul. He died on Feb. 26, 1970.After marriage the couple farmed in the Town of Chilton until 1945 when they retired and moved to Chilton.Survivors are three sons, Raymond of Kohler, Elmer of R. 1, Chilton and Edmund of Chilton; one daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Loretta) Hillmann of R. 1, Hilbert; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Martin Stecker of Manitowoc, Arno of R. 4, Chilton and Walter of Hilbert, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Stecker of Chilton.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Chilton. The Rev. Robert Novotney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Chilton.Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton, after 4 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
