  Gerhardt A. Baumgart, 94, Town of Lawrence, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was born May 20, 1915, in Lawrence to the late August and Emma Baumgart. On May 20, 1939, he married Ruth Hildebrandt. Gerhardt farmed his entire adult life. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in De Pere. He is survived by his children: Ervin Baumgart, Nancy (Edward) Felton, Sandra (John) Andrew, and Gary Baumgart. His eleven grandchildren; Amy, Steve, Julie, Karen, Pennie, Tom, Duane, Nicholas, Joel, Dierdra, and Darcie, as well as six great grandchildren further survive him. His wife Ruth, and his sister and brother Rueben and Regina preceded him in death. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at St. John Lutheran Church, 1700 Lost Dauphin Road, De Pere, until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastors Brian and Andrea Cain officiating. Burial will take place in Lawrence Cemetery. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family. The RYAN FUNERAL HOME of De Pere is assisting the family.
