  Roger O. Steinbach, age 57, Shiocton, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Roger was born on June 11, 1954, in Greenville, WI, son of the late Orville and Doris Steinbach. On September 4, 1993, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Verbockel in Mountain, WI. Roger was a graduate of Hortonville High School. He worked at Country Air, Helminski Excavating, Michaels Pipeline and for the past 26 years at Badger Highway. Roger's #1 priority was his family. He enjoyed fishing and 4-wheeling; he was very active in the 4-wheeler club and served as past Vice-President and President. Roger also served on the church council. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; two sons, Lucas and Jason, both at home; a brother, Jerald (Donna) Steinbach, TN; two aunts, Alice Kirchner, Menasha and Orla Jacobs, Waupaca; his father and mother in-law, Henry (Marilyn) Verbockel. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Patty. Funeral services for Roger will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church (W6106 Navarino Road, Shiocton-3 miles west of Navarino off on 156) with Pastor Jon Paquette officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, from 1-4 p.m. at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton and also on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
