  Ventura, CA - Evelyn Ruth Tank, July 9, 1917 - March 14, 2018 passed away Wednesday morning in Ventura, California. She was born in Marshall, Minnesota and was married to Clarence W. Tank for 71 years. They lived in Appleton, Wisconsin until 2005 before coming to California to live with her son, Dennis L. Tank and daughter-in-law, Ilda Tank. Her husband Clarence passed away in 2010 and her son Dennis passed away 2016. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ilda Tank of Oxnard, California; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Don Rippy of Cameron Park, California. Evelyn has seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren who all live in California. Evelyn's passions in life were her love for the Lord and her family. Evelyn also enjoyed cooking and was caterer in Wisconsin for over 50 years. On Saturday, April 7, 2018, at ten o'clock, a memorial service will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 1338 East Santa Clara Street, in Ventura, California. The service will be followed by a graveside service and luncheon. There is no one sweeter than Evelyn Tank and she will be missed dearly.
