  In the early morning of February 23, 2016, Verna Irene (Schneider) Griepentrog, 96, of Greenleaf, WI, died in her sleep at Living Tree Estates in Greenville, WI. She was born April 11, 1919 in Maribel, WI and moved to Greenleaf after her marriage in 1939. She worked hard on the 160 acre farm and helped Sylvester run Greenleaf Radio and TV business until they retired. She loved to garden, bake, cook, and dance. She was considerate to all. She always had a piece of chocolate cake to share with a smile. She is survived by Dal (Lorraine) Griepentrog, Shirleyann (Marvin) Schneider, and Sandra (Dennis Viets) Milbach; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Sylvester Griepentrog in 1998. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Zion United Methodist Church, 231 Chicago Street, Denmark, WI at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Henry Yoap and Pastor Yeng Yang officiating. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial in Lark Cemetery. Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, assisting the family. Published in Green Bay Press-Gazette on July 16, 2016
