  Joseph Buechel, 80, passed away Saturday October 21, 1950 at St. Agnes Hospital,Fond du Lac, after an illness of a week. He had been a patient at the hospital for four days. Mr. Buechel operated a farm in the town of Brothertown. He was born May 12, 1870 in Johnsburg, the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Buechel. He married Miss Ann Lisowe, Jan. 18, 1898 at Holy Trinity Church, Jericho. She preceded him in death in 1942.He was a member of Holy Trinity parish, Jericho, and of the Holy Name Society of that congregation. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Loretta) See, Town of Chilton; four sons; Leo, Michael, Ervin, and Norbert of the Town of Brothertown; three brothers: Math of Chilton; Mathew J.Buechel of the Town of Brothertown, and William of Marytown; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Freund, Town of Brothertown; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home here and at 10:00 at Holy Trinity Church, with Rev. Robert Klein officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: August Nickel, Alfred Steffes, Ignatz Ditter,Leo Halbach, Melvin Halbach and Anton Wicklein.
