  STOCKBRIDGE - Mrs. Marine Parker, 62, passed away Tuesday evening after a short illness. She was stricken with a paralytic stroke while on her way home from church and lapsed into unconsciousness from which she never revived. Mrs. Parker, nee Myra Powell was born Jan. 9, 1883 at Stockbridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Powell. She was united in marriage Nov. 27, 1902 to Marine Parker, also of Stockbridge. They lived their entire married life here and in Kaukauna. Six children were born to them, 4 preceded her in death. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Methodist church and president of the Women's Society of Christian Service. Surviving besides her husband are one son, Wilmer, Kaukauna; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Eickstein at home; 8 grandchildren and 2 brothers, Myron, Chilton, and Lester at home. The body will lie in state at the Schumacher Funeral Home here until Friday when services will be held there and at the Methodist church. Rev. L. F. Green will officiate and burial will be in the Lakeside cemetery. Chilton Times - April 12, 1945
